Emmy Noether’s contribution to the mathematical development goes far behind her own work. Her works on ideal theory is a base to modern algebraic geometry and applications. I shall describe contemporary works that could not have been done without Emmy Noether emphasizing application in classification of algebraic surfaces, robotics, and neural computation.
